Job summary

Community Services Foundation is seeking a Licensed MSW Field Education Consultant to provide educational supervision and mentorship to first-year MSW interns in CSF programs. The role supports ethical, culturally responsive practice aligned with NASW Code of Ethics and EPAS standards.

The consultant will supervise weekly sessions, coordinate Learning Agreements, complete evaluations, and liaise with partner schools and university faculty.

Qualifications

• Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from a CSWE-accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted Master Social Worker license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of two years of post-master's professional social work experience.
• Eligibility to serve as a university-approved field instructor.
• Knowledge of CSWE Educational Policy and Accreditation Standards (EPAS).
• Knowledge of the NASW Code of Ethics and applicable state practice regulations.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with agency and university partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide a minimum of one hour of structured supervision each week for assigned first-year MSW interns.
• Collaborate with interns to develop learning goals and educational objectives.
• Observe and assess student performance throughout the placement and provide feedback.
• Maintain supervision logs and educational documentation; complete evaluations on university timelines.
• Serve as liaison between Community Services Foundation and partner schools of social work.
• Consult with CSF leadership to promote best practices in supervision and field education quality.
