Job summary

Qualifications

• Master of Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program and two years of experience.
• Experience providing individual and group supervision to graduate-level students, or comparable professional supervisory experience.
• Experience in program coordination, field education, or student affairs.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment, manage program operations, and lead projects to completion.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent placements and competing priorities.
• Knowledge of CSWE competencies and field-education requirements.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensure, or license eligibility, in the State of California.
• Experience managing a social work field-education or internship program in a higher-education or community-based setting.
• Familiarity with the CSWE Educational Policy and Accreditation Standards and the NASW Code of Ethics.
• Experience with program assessment, outcomes tracking, and continuous improvement.
• Experience partnering with campus and community stakeholders to develop and sustain placement sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage the MSW internship program within the Health & Well-Being Division, ensuring alignment with CSWE requirements.
• Oversee recruitment, selection, and placement of MSW interns and supervision structures.
• Coordinate relationships with Site Hosts, matching, capacity confirmation, and site continuation decisions.
• Lead program quality assurance, outcomes assessment, and needs analysis.
• Provide minimum one hour of individual supervision weekly and organize weekly group supervision for the cohort.
• Serve as liaison with campus partners and stakeholders; plan and host the end-of-year program showcase.
