Job summary

Pinnacle Group seeks a Finance Lead for MSP/VMS implementations. You will lead discovery with client Finance, AP, Procurement to document financial requirements and design end-to-end financial operating models including time/expense, invoicing, tax, currency, and reporting.

You will own SIT/UAT testing and manage go-live handover to Finance and MSP Operations. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in MSP/VMS financial implementations, strong knowledge of the contingent workforce lifecycle, and hands-on

Qualifications

5+ years in MSP, VMS, contingent workforce, staffing, or related financial implementation environments with demonstrated experience designing and implementing financial processes for complex programs.
Strong understanding of the contingent workforce financial lifecycle, including time and expense, rate cards, MSP/VMS fees, purchase orders, invoicing, supplier payments, credits/adjustments, accruals, and reconciliation.
3+ years leading financial systems implementations, solution design, requirements gathering, testing/UAT, integrations, and go-live activities.
Experience with leading VMS platforms such as SAP Fieldglass, Beeline, Workday VNDLY, or similar platforms strongly preferred.
Experience integrating VMS solutions with ERP, AP, procurement, and financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar platforms preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or related discipline preferred, or equivalent MSP/VMS industry experience.

Responsibilities

Lead discovery sessions with client Finance, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Tax, and other stakeholders to gather and document financial requirements for MSP/VMS implementations.
Design end-to-end financial operating model including time and expense processing, rate and markup structures, purchase orders and funding, client invoicing, supplier invoicing/payments, taxes, currency, reconciliation, and reporting.
Translate requirements into VMS configuration specs and validate financial workflows, rate structures, fees, and payment terms.
Own the Finance workstream for SIT/UAT and end-to-end financial testing, including scenarios for invoicing and ERP reconciliation.
Develop SOPs, controls, KPIs, and lead go-live handover to Finance and MSP Operations.
Ensure solution governance aligns with contracts, supplier agreements, and financial controls; identify risks and drive resolution.
Develop strong knowledge of Pinnacle's financial tech ecosystem and VMS platform dependencies.
Coordinate milestones, risks, issues, and readiness activities across Client Finance, MSP Ops, Technology, and vendors.
