Job summary

Vaco by Highspring seeks an Implementations Manager to lead customer onboarding and implementations from kickoff to go-live. The role blends accounting expertise, technical configuration, and project leadership to modernize financial close processes.

The candidate will manage ERP integrations, data migrations, and cross-functional collaboration with Product and Engineering, while mentoring junior team members in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience, including ownership of month-end close or technical accounting processes; CPA preferred.
• Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects, preferably involving software implementations, systems migrations, or process transformation.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, financial integrations, and how accounting data moves between business applications.
• Excellent customer-facing communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to translate accounting requirements into scalable technical solutions while managing multiple implementations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of customer implementations from initial kickoff through configuration, training, go-live, and transition to Customer Success.
• Develop project plans, milestones, responsibilities, and timelines while proactively addressing risks and delays.
• Analyze customers' accounting processes and recommend improvements to close, reconciliation, reporting, and financial workflows.
• Configure platform functionality and troubleshoot integrations with ERP and other financial systems.
• Guide customers through data migrations, system integrations, testing, and adoption activities.
• Train accounting teams and finance leaders on product capabilities, implementation best practices, and updated workflows.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to resolve technical issues and communicate customer requirements.
• Maintain clear project documentation and ensure completed implementations meet defined adoption and handoff standards.
• Develop reusable implementation templates, playbooks, training resources, and automation tools.
• Support and mentor junior implementation team members as the organization grows.
