Job summary

Flagler Technologies, Llc is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer for our Professional Services team. You will work on a variety of client infrastructure projects, deploying, migrating, upgrading, and improving environments across Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, and security solutions.

The role emphasizes direct client interaction, collaboration with engineers, thorough documentation, and ownership of project deliverables from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5–7 years of professional IT experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Azure/cloud services.
• Hands-on networking with firewalls, switches, VPNs, VLANs, and routing.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V, Nutanix, Scale Computing).
• Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery platforms (Veeam, Datto).
• Understanding of cybersecurity practices (EDR, MFA, and common security frameworks).
• Experience with RMM and PSA platforms (ConnectWise, Kaseya, N-able).
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, time-management, and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and validate client servers, storage, networks, firewalls, and cloud environments.
• Implement Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure solutions, including user administration, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and security policies.
• Work with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity solutions.
• Support and troubleshoot virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper‑V, Nutanix, Scale Computing.
• Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, VPNs, VLANs, and routing.
• Perform system upgrades, migrations, replacements, and configuration changes.
• Lead client onboarding, infrastructure refresh, deployment, migration, and assessment projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge.
