Job summary

New Charter Technologies is seeking a skilled System Administrator in White Plains, NY to provide remote and on-site IT support for Westchester County and NYC clients. The role emphasizes proactive system monitoring, user management in Office 365, and cloud basics with Azure/AWS.

You will maintain Windows Server environments, collaborate with clients to tailor IT solutions, and mentor junior staff while ensuring reliable, secure connectivity and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of networking and system administration.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver remote and on-site technical support to clients with professionalism and urgency.
• Proactively monitor and maintain client systems to prevent downtime and improve performance.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their IT needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server environments and Windows 10 workstations.
• Administer Office 365 environments including user management and email configurations.
• Configure and support network protocols such as TCP/IP and ensure secure connectivity.
• Utilize RMM tools (e.g., ConnectWise) for system monitoring and management.
• Assist in cloud infrastructure support including Azure and AWS environments.
• Document technical procedures and client interactions in ticketing systems.
• Demonstrate leadership by mentoring junior staff and delegating tasks effectively.
