Job summary

Jersey College is seeking a Nursing Instructor to provide high-quality classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students. You will evaluate performance and guide students toward professional nursing practice.

The ideal candidate holds an MSN or higher, an active RN license in the state, and at least 3 years of RN experience. Teaching experience and proficiency with educational technology are preferred.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of RN experience.
• Teaching experience with LPN/PN and RN students preferred.
• Experience with clinical evaluation and competency-based education.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students, as assigned.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute sites.
• Create a positive learning environment that supports student growth.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence against program standards.
• Maintain accurate attendance and progress records.
