Job summary

Jersey College seeks an experienced Registered Nurse with an MSN or higher to join our nursing education team as a Nursing Instructor. The role delivers classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students, with an RN class on Wednesdays from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Start date is November 2026 across campus settings. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of RN experience, current state licensure, and a passion for teaching.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to the nursing courses and clinical experiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to nursing students.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence through established standards.
• Prepare timely progress and grade reports and maintain attendance records.
• Collaborate with faculty, administration, and clinical partners.
• Attend faculty meetings and maintain professional development.
