Job summary

Jersey College seeks an experienced Nursing Instructor to deliver classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical instruction for LPN/PN and RN students, starting Spring 2027. The role requires ROLE RN experience, MSN or higher, and strong communication skills to foster student success across med-surg and advanced med-surg tracks.

The instructor will supervise clinicals at long-term, sub-acute, and acute sites, evaluate student performance, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to med-surg and advanced med-surg courses.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical instruction for LPN/PN and RN students.
• Supervise students in clinical settings and ensure safe, professional nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence based on program standards.
• Prepare progress reports, grades, and attendance records.
• Collaborate with faculty and clinical partners and participate in required meetings.
