Job summary

Jersey College is seeking a Registered Nurse Instructor to provide clinical instruction across long-term care, sub-acute, and acute sites. You will foster student growth, prepare progress and grade reports, and maintain attendance records while aligning with the program's philosophy and objectives.

Ideal candidates will hold an MSN, possess a valid RN license, and have at least 3 years of RN experience, with teaching experience preferred.

Qualifications

• MSN required for applicant.
• Valid State RN license required.
• Minimum of 3 years recent RN experience.
• Prior teaching experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Providing clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites.
• Creating a clinical environment that fosters students' academic growth and guides their professional development.
• Preparing student progress reports and grade reports.
• Maintaining accurate and timely attendance records.
• Evaluating student competence based on program philosophy and objectives.
• Implementing evaluation devices of student learning and clinical experience to measure progress.
• Attending faculty meetings.
• Maintaining professional qualifications as a RN Instructor through continuing education and courses.
• Perform other duties as required by the program director or campus administration.
