Job summary

TriHealth's Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, OH, seeks a nurse for the 7AB MSICU to provide high‑acuity cardiovascular and critical care. You’ll manage ventilators, dialysis, and hemodynamic monitoring in a 24‑bed unit, joining a collaborative team with strong orientation and ongoing education.

Night‑shift opportunities available for dedicated ICU RNs. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in Med/Surg or Telemetry, an RN license, BLS/CPR, and a plan to obtain a BSN within five years.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing required.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• BLS/CPR required (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers).
• New hires must obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing patient/family assessments per unit/TriHealth guidelines.
• Develop and update individualized plans of care based on assessments and outcomes.
• Deliver safe, holistic nursing care while respecting patient autonomy and dignity.
• Communicate findings with physicians and interdisciplinary team.
• Recognize emergencies and take timely actions to ensure patient safety.
• Complete patient assignments and documentation within scheduled timeframes.
• Provide patient/family education and document responses to care.
