Job summary

TriHealth Bethesda North Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to support the MSICU/PCU in Montgomery, OH. The unit combines PCU and ICU beds in a high-acuity environment with advanced therapies and a focus on professional growth. Roles include Part-Time and Full-Time night shifts on site, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and patient safety.

Requirements include an associate degree or nursing diploma, active RN license, and BLS/CPR. New hires must obtain a BSN within five years of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or diploma in nursing; RN licensure required.
• Active BLS/CPR certification.
• BSN must be obtained within five years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients and families; document per unit/TriHealth standards.
• Develop and execute individualized plans of care based on assessment findings, standards, and desired outcomes.
• Deliver safe, holistic care while maintaining patient dignity, autonomy, and rights in a high-acuity setting.
• Recognize emergent situations and take appropriate action to support timely interventions and patient safety.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and adjust plans as needed.
• Provide patient/family education and document response to care and teaching.
• Support unit excellence by sharing knowledge, serving as a resource, and contributing to ongoing professional development.
