Job summary

Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center MICU is hiring a Full-time RN for a 36-hour week. You’ll care for critically ill patients in a 29-bed unit, with on-call and sign-on bonus options. Schedule is 7p-7a Fri/Sat/Sun; ACLS required within 6 months of hire; BLS required; RN license in-state.

Experience in inpatient RN roles is preferred; Magnet-designated center with advanced ventilatory support and ECMO capabilities.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse license for the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification with ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• 6 months RN inpatient experience required; new grads not eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Maintain safe patient environment and communicate effectively with the team.
