Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a Human Services field is required.
• Minimum two years of experience in the substance abuse or mental health field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to maintain confidentiality and ethics in therapy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and gather relevant information to understand clients’ mental health needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and supervising licensed therapists.
• Provide therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
• Monitor clients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Participate in regular supervision and training sessions to enhance clinical skills.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
• Uphold ethical standards and maintain confidentiality of client information at all times.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with advancements in the field.
