The intern will gain experience with evidence-based therapies, documentation, and multidisciplinary teamwork, while maintaining ethical standards and pursuing ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field from an accredited institution.
• Current registration as an intern with the appropriate state licensing board.
• 1-2 years of supervised clinical experience in a mental health setting.
• Experience in providing individual and group therapy sessions.
• Familiarity with case management and treatment planning.
• Experience working with diverse populations and age groups.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and assist in developing individualized treatment plans for clients.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed therapist.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Participate in regular supervision and training sessions to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
• Assist in crisis intervention and management as needed.
• Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality in all client interactions and documentation.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with the latest therapeutic practices and research.
