Job summary

LifeStream in Ocala, FL is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to deliver high-quality therapy services. You will assess, diagnose, and develop personalized treatment plans, providing individual, group, and family sessions to diverse clients.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, or Marriage and Family Therapist in Florida.
• Minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in a therapeutic setting.
• Experience working with individuals with mental health disorders, preferably in a clinical or community mental health environment.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing treatment plans for clients with diverse backgrounds and needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based therapeutic practices.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to clients with diverse backgrounds and mental health conditions.
• Monitor and evaluate clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
• Maintain confidential records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Participate in supervision and professional development to enhance clinical skills.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health therapy to apply best practices.
• Adhere to all ethical and legal guidelines in the provision of mental health services.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed to clients experiencing acute mental health episodes.
