Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Engineering Manager 1 in Linthicum, MD, to lead Modeling, Simulation & Analysis capabilities. The role is 100% on site and requires a current Secret clearance with SAP access. You will supervise engineers, guide MS&A solutions, and shape technical roadmaps across multiple programs.

The ideal candidate has strong C++ design, data analytics, and team leadership skills, with a track record in solving complex engineering problems in a defense context.

Qualifications

• BS in STEM with relevant MS&A expertise; Master’s preferred for advanced roles.
• Experience leading engineering teams and delivering MS&A projects.
• Active or ability to obtain a U.S. government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead MS&A teams and manage engineers across projects.
• Develop, integrate, and validate modeling and simulation frameworks.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to drive roadmaps and technical alignment.
• Mentor junior staff and manage performance and career development.
• Review proposals and contribute to program strategy and execution.
