Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Linthicum, MD seeks a Systems Engineering Manager 2 to lead MS&A initiatives and architect large-scale simulations. You will guide a team of engineers, integrate MS&A with aircraft software, and deliver credible models across programs in a 100% on-site role.

The position requires a U.S. Secret clearance, strong C++/Python skills, and experience in RF/MS&A domains. Expect leadership duties, collaboration with stakeholders, and technical roadmap development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science/Engineering or Math with 8+ years of related experience; or Master's with 6+ years; or PhD with 4+ years.
• Demonstrated RF Modeling, Simulation & Analysis (MS&A) experience.
• Active US Citizenship and current/active US Government Secret Clearance; ability to obtain SAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor MS&A engineers; balance 80% technical work with 20% management.
• Develop and integrate MS&A across multiple programs and flight software.
• Architect simulation frameworks and data pipelines for large-scale analysis.
• Review proposals, drive roadmaps, and coordinate with internal/external stakeholders.
• Produce publication-quality reports to support VVA and credibility.
