Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Radar Modeling Simulation & Analysis Systems Engineer for the Baltimore area. The role focuses on developing and validating radar models, simulations, and analysis tools within the Foundational Systems Engineering department in Linthicum, MD.

The candidate will work with C++, MATLAB, and Python to verify performance and deliver capability analyses. This is an on-site, full-time position requiring a Secret clearance and SAP access eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience, master’s with 3 years or Ph.D. with 1 year in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical fields; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• An active U.S Government Secret clearance.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access.
• Experience with domain experience in simulations of RF, EOIR, Communications or related systems.
• Experience with MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Develop and use advanced models and simulations of platforms, sensors, weapons and their interactions with environment.
• Utilize MSE&A for advanced systems modeling and analysis.
• Develop sensor simulations and verify performance against system requirements.
• Develops, integrates, and uses advanced graphical user interfaces and visualization tools.
