Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in the United States seeks an Engineering Specialist for Signal & Image Processing and Modeling & Simulation to join the CMED. This full-time, on-site role covers El Segundo, CO Springs, Chantilly, or Huntsville, with opportunity to work on MS&A of space and air systems.

Expect a BS in engineering, 8+ years of experience, proficiency in Python/C++, and a current Top Secret clearance. Mentoring, travel, and impactful analysis are key facets of the position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (aerospace, astronautical, mechanical, or software) or closely related field.
• 8+ years of professional engineering/scientific experience in multi-disciplinary environments.
• Experience with space operations, simulations, and C2 concepts.
• Proficiency with Python and/or C++.
• Current Top Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Represent CMED as a technical authority in area(s) of expertise.
• Translate program needs into modeling, simulation, and analysis solutions.
• Plan and contribute to technical analysis projects.
• Develop and deliver presentations and reports.
• Mentor junior staff and support a learning environment.
• Travel occasionally as required.
