Job summary

On-Target Supplies & Logistics, Ltd. in Dallas, TX, is looking for a Materials Requirement Planner (MRP) to ensure materials are available for production through inventory planning, data analysis, and supplier collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in materials planning, supply chain, or inventory management.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and vendor management abilities.
• Certification in supply chain management.
• Computer-based knowledge: Excel, Outlook, Word; familiar with process improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain SAP master data (planning parameters: lead-times, batch sizes, safety stocks, etc.) to optimize the replenishment strategy.
• Plan and maintain inventory levels to meet production requirements.
• Utilize SAP to monitor and manage stock levels.
• Creation and change of plant data, storage views, warehouse management views, MRP views (Material master).
• Analyze stock reporting to minimize factory disruption due to improper stocking levels.
• Coordinate with internal departments and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Collaborate on production planning to align material availability with operational needs.
• Work with vendors to obtain RMA (Return Material Authorization) to return materials in need of repair.
• Generate Purchase Requisitions.
• Collaborate with TI stockrooms worldwide to transfer stock to and from.
• Identify inefficiencies in material planning and propose improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards in all material planning activities.
