Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Purchasing Agent focused on MRO spend to maintain uninterrupted manufacturing operations across several sites in the Rigid Packaging Solutions North America group. You will manage procurement of MRO spare parts, tools, and consumables, leveraging regional agreements to drive savings and improve inventory turnover.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business-related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Prior experience in procurement or supply chain strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead MRO inventory management and planning for multiple sites.
• Create and manage purchase orders; ensure pricing, lead times, and contract terms.
• Expedite critical orders and manage emergency sourcing to minimize downtime.
• Monitor supplier performance and address issues related to availability, price, quality, and delivery.
