Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking a Purchasing Agent focused on MRO spend to support maintenance across multiple manufacturing sites within the North America Rigid Packaging Solutions group. You will drive cost savings, maintain optimal MRO inventories, and ensure timely parts availability to keep production running.

The role emphasizes supplier relationship management, adherence to procurement policies, and collaboration with plant teams to standardize parts and optimize costs.

Qualifications

• Procurement or supply chain experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage MRO inventory levels and stocking strategies across multiple sites.
• Source and procure MRO parts, maintenance supplies, plant consumables, tools, and services.
• Create and manage purchase orders with negotiated pricing and terms.
• Expedite critical orders and manage emergency sourcing activities.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to availability and quality.
• Collaborate with plant personnel, suppliers, distributors, and OEMs.
