Job summary

Race Winning Brands is seeking a Buyer/Planner to execute MRO procurement, maintain material plans, and optimize supply chain reliability. You will manage POs/WOs, analyze shortages, and coordinate with production, warehousing, and suppliers to meet demand and improve on-time delivery.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, strong Excel skills, and 2+ years in planning/purchasing in manufacturing. APICS certifications are preferred; Power BI experience is a plus. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in a related field; APICS/ASCM CPIM/CSCP preferred.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, planning models) and MS Word; MRP/ERP knowledge.
• 2+ years in production or material planning and purchasing, with MRP, inventory planning, and scheduling experience.

Responsibilities

• Run and review MRP daily for assigned buyer codes and product lines; release, reschedule, expedite, de-expedite, or cancel POs/WOs.
• Develop and maintain material and production plans balancing demand, capacity, lead times, and inventory targets.
• Plan and prioritize production schedules to maximize schedule attainment and minimize delays.
• Determine manpower, equipment, and raw materials needed; identify capacity constraints and propose solutions.
• Perform shortage analysis and drive recovery plans with production, warehouse, and suppliers.
• Plan and issue supplier releases and blanket orders; coordinate inventory transfers between locations.
