Job summary

RTX's Pratt & Whitney team in East Hartford is seeking an Adaptive Engines Industrial Engineer to drive hardware readiness and supplier coordination for next-generation military engine programs.

You will collaborate with engineering, supply chain, manufacturing and programs teams to resolve technical and schedule challenges, manage IBOM inputs, Kanban boards, and supplier performance, and prepare execution status for leadership reviews.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with 5 years of engineering experience, or an advanced degree with 3 years.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret clearance.
• Experience with hardware program execution and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Execute hardware plans to ensure on-time delivery and manage supplier performance.
• Coordinate across engineering, supply chain, procurement, and program leadership.
• Maintain IBOM inputs, Kanban board, supplier meetings, and purchase-order activities.
• Drive definition and readiness by managing URs, STOs, and drawing release trains.
• Coordinate issue resolution across teams to meet milestones and mitigations.
• Develop recovery plans and drive actions with suppliers/manufacturers to closure.
• Provide leadership updates on status, risks, and forecasts at reviews.
