Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an MRI technologist for weekend overnight shifts at our Cambridge, MA hospital. You will perform MR exams, monitor contrast administration, and collaborate with radiologists and staff.

Requirements include 2+ years MRI experience, ARRT/ARMRIT certification, RT license, and strong interpersonal skills. Epic experience is a plus. Weekend hours support patient care across shifts in a busy radiology department.

Formación

• ARRT or ARMRIT certification is required; RT license required; MRI experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ MRI experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Performs MR exams of the head, chest, abdomen, extremities, or other MRI procedures ordered by radiologist.
• Operates MR scan equipment and associated consoles, ensuring proper protocols.
• Administers oral and intravenous contrast material and starts IVs as needed.
• Monitors patient status and records reactions, completes QA and ARCR requirements.
• Follows department procedures and responds to emergency scan requests within 60 minutes.
• Assists in training students and supports department efficiency and patient flow.
• Maintains aseptic technique and accurate exam records; pursues continuing education.
