Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an MRI technologist for evening coverage, performing MR exams across multiple body areas and ensuring accurate documentation and patient safety. The role requires ARRT/ARMRIT certification or RT license, with a minimum of two years MRI experience and strong patient communication skills.

The position includes a $20,000 sign-on bonus and a schedule of Monday to Wednesday and Friday, 2:00pm–12:30am.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ MRI experience.
• ARRT or ARMRIT required; RT license.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform MR exams of head, chest, abdomen, extremities, or ordered procedures.
• Operate MR scan consoles and related equipment; monitor patients.
• Administer intravenous contrast; start and monitor IV lines.
• Document reactions and QA/ACR compliance; follow safety protocols.
• Take call shifts and respond to emergency scan requests within 60 minutes.
