Job summary

UCHealth Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo is seeking an MRI Technologist for a full-time, weekend-days position. The candidate must graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program and hold RT/ MRI or ARMRIT credentials, with at least one year of experience and active licensure if required by law.

The role offers $60.00 per hour plus a travel package, with local traveler options within 75 miles and 13-week assignments available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Technologist (RT) and registered in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) or ARMRIT.
• One year of experience.
• State licensure if required by law.
• BLS/CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. Card valid through start date.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history, initiates Radiographic images based on physician order and prioritizes procedural patient education to ensure mutual understanding and cooperation.
• Safely administers contrast media or imaging medications while monitoring patient condition.
• Responds and reports changes in patient condition as appropriate; applies techniques to yield clear images and ensure equipment functionality.
