Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Health is seeking an MRI Technologist for the UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central site in Colorado Springs. The role is full time with a weekend night schedule and a pay rate of $60.00 per hour plus a travel package or stipend.

13 week assignments and local traveler options within 75 miles are available. Responsibilities include reviewing orders and patient history, preparing and administering contrast media, and performing MRI imaging with safety and quality

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Minimum of one year of experience.
• Registered RT with MRI certification or registry eligible with ARRT completion within 12 months.
• State licensure if required by law.
• BLS/CPR certification prior to start date and valid through hire period.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and orders; educate patient on procedures and equipment.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications as allowed; monitor patient status.
• Prepare equipment and supplies; select exposure factors; perform safety and QC procedures.
• Position patient and perform imaging; analyze results; address image quality issues; transmit report.
