Job summary

UCHealth in Denver, CO is seeking a part-time MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging in accordance with department standards and patient safety. The role is onsite in the UIS Cherry Creek MRI department with a weekend-days shift.

Pay ranges from $40.40 to $56.56 per hour, dependent on experience. This position emphasizes patient education, safety, and accurate imaging in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered or registry eligible in MRI per ARRT/ARMRIT with completion within 12 months.
• BLS/CPR certification prior to start and valid through hire date.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and orders; educates patient on procedures to ensure understanding.
• Prepares and administers contrast media or medications as appropriate and monitors patient.
• Prepares equipment, selects exposure factors, follows safety standards and performs QC.
• Positions patient and performs imaging; analyzes images and reports results.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and works with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.
