Job summary

UCHealth Cherry Creek MRI is seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging on-site in Denver. You will review patient history and orders, coordinate scheduling, and educate patients about procedures and equipment to ensure understanding and cooperation.

Applicants must graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program and be RT registered or registry-eligible (MRI) with registry completion within 12 months by ARRT or ARMRIT. Weekend days, part-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• ARRT MRI registry eligibility or ARMRIT registry eligibility with completion within 12 months.
• Ability to perform MRI procedures safely and in accordance with standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs magnetic resonance imaging in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with UCHealth policies.
• Reviews patient history, physician orders and scheduling.
• Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Prepares equipment and supplies.
• Implements safety standards and quality control procedures on equipment.
• Troubleshoots and reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.
• Analyzes results and identifies issues with image quality and takes action to resolve.
