Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks an MRI Technologist at Intermountain Medical Center, a Level I Trauma Center, to perform advanced diagnostic MRI procedures and support a collaborative care team. You will ensure patient safety and comfort while delivering high-quality imaging.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification is required.
• ARMRIT certification is required.
• ARRT R cross-trained in MRI is preferred.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers is required.
• IV competency within 30 days of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity, review orders, and prepare patients for MRI examinations.
• Perform MRI examinations according to protocols, ensuring safety, comfort and quality care.
• Operate MRI equipment and related information systems with accurate documentation.
• Follow MRI safety guidelines, infection prevention and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with radiologists, providers and staff to deliver excellent patient care.
• Assist with training and mentoring students and team members as needed.
