Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform routine and advanced MRI procedures under supervision. The role requires ensuring patient safety, accurate data entry, and adherence to imaging protocols while supporting department workflows.

Flexibility to cover overtime and other sites is required; a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 is available. The position involves rotating shifts, including holidays and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Radiology Technology Program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with MR designation; BLS certified.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document patient information relevant to care, including safety and medical history.
• Assess patient condition to determine appropriateness of MRI exam.
• Document information related to contrast usage and allergies.
• Perform MRI exams with accuracy following departmental protocols and post-processing steps.
• Use RIS and PACS with accurate patient demographics and study tracking.
• QC MRI studies and evaluate images for diagnostic value.
• Follow magnet safety protocols and maintain a safe environment.
• Contribute to team efforts and rotate shifts as needed to cover sites.
