Job summary

MedQuest Imaging is seeking a Full-Time MRI Technologist to join the Palmetto Imaging at Irmo team. Located in Irmo, SC, this role involves preparing patients, selecting scanning parameters, and ensuring safety and compliance throughout MRI procedures.

The successful candidate will be ARRT MRI‑certified, possess CPR, and hold active licensure (where applicable). A strong focus on patient care, accuracy, and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• ARRT registered with advanced registry in MRI.
• Must complete required CEUs to keep Certification active.
• Active state licensure, where applicable.
• CPR Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete scans effectively and efficiently.
• Position and prepare patients for MRI procedures.
• Review patient’s chart and physician requests to determine scanning parameters.
• Prepare and administer contrast agents per regulations.
• Enter patient information to initiate scans and monitor status.
• Document and archive diagnostic data; ensure timely, accurate records.
• Maintain equipment and perform preventive maintenance as needed.
