Job summary

MedQuest Imaging in Columbia, SC seeks an MRI Technologist (Full-Time) to operate at Palmetto Imaging Downtown. The role emphasizes patient care, accurate imaging, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• ARRT registered with advanced registry in MRI.
• Must complete required CEU’s to maintain active certification.
• Active state licensure where applicable, CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Complete scans effectively and efficiently with proper patient data.
• Screen patients for ferrous and RF-sensitive materials before MRI.
• Position and prepare patients for MRI procedures and immobilization.
• Review requests and parameters to optimize scanning for suspected pathology.
• Administer contrast agents per regulations; document results promptly.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and technical competence.
• Ensure compliance with MRI safety, quality protocols and confidentiality.
• Cross-train for additional modalities and contribute to education.
