Job summary

MedQuest Imaging is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist to support our Columbia, SC center. The role involves preparing patients, operating MRI equipment, ensuring safety, and documenting results. The position offers flexible scheduling as needed with competitive compensation and benefits.

Ideal candidates will have ARRT MRI credential, completion of an accredited radiologic tech program, CPR certification, and strong patient service skills. Prior MRI experience is preferred though not required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• ARRT registered with advanced registry in MRI.
• Must complete CEU’s to maintain active certification.
• Active state licensure where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans accurately and efficiently.
• Screen patients for contraindications and ensure safety protocols.
• Position patients and select immobilization devices as needed.
• Review and document imaging data and patient information.
• Maintain equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
