Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited radiologic technology program.
• ARRT registered with MRI Advanced Registry.
• Maintain active CPR certification and CEUs to keep licensure active.
• State licensure where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete MRI scans accurately and efficiently.
• Screen patients for safety before entering the magnetic field.
• Position patients and prepare equipment for procedures.
• Review physician requests to determine imaging parameters.
• Administer contrast agents per regulations.
• Document and archive imaging and patient data timely.
