Job summary

MedQuest Imaging in Irmo, SC seeks a Full-Time MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment, ensure patient safety, optimize imaging quality, and contribute to a friendly, efficient outpatient imaging center.

You will collect patient data, position patients for scans, review physician requests, administer contrast as required, monitor the patient’s status during procedures, and document results while upholding MedQuest’s standards of care, safety, and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• ARRT registered with advanced registry in MRI.
• Maintain active Certification with required CEU’s.
• Active state licensure where applicable.
• CPR Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Collect pertinent data about the patient and the procedure.
• Position and prepare patients for MRI procedures.
• Review images to determine if additional scans are needed.
• Document diagnostic data in the patient record.
• Monitor the patient’s status during the procedure.
• Ensure safety and compliance with policies and quality protocols.
