Job summary

Akumin is seeking an MRI Technologist to produce high-quality diagnostic MR images and assist in contrast administration across multiple sites. You will collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to ensure accurate data for interpretation, while upholding safety and HIPAA compliance.

The role requires ARRT(MR) certification, state licensure where applicable, and ongoing education. Sign-on bonus is offered to new hires as part of the onboarding package.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) certification or equivalent
• State license to practice radiologic technology
• BLS (and ACLS where required)
• Ability to work across multiple sites and provide patient-centered care
• Strong communication and multitasking skills

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality cross-sectional MR images for diagnostic interpretation
• Perform and document contrast administration per policy and law
• Ensure safety and infection control practices in imaging
• Operate and troubleshoot MR equipment, EMR, PACS and DICOM systems
• Train and orient new technologists and assistants
