Job summary

RadNet is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high quality MRI exams and ensure patient safety within a fast-paced radiology setting. You will administer contrast when needed and optimize imaging parameters to produce excellent results.

Ideal candidates have ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, state licensure, and BLS, plus a willingness to support patients and collaborate with physicians and staff in delivering top-tier imaging care.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification required.
• State license in diagnostic radiologic technology required.
• BLS certification required.
• Venipuncture certificate may be required by state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, safely and effectively.
• Adjust TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions and FOV to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through the exam process and answer questions.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient property and Health Information.
• Safeguard medications on site per policy and law.
• Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
