Job summary

Akumin is hiring an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MR studies, ensure patient safety, and communicate with radiologists and staff. The role may be on-site or remote, requiring collaboration across locations and training of new technologists and assistants.

Applicants should be ARRT MR (or eligible) with CPR certification, a state license if applicable, and 3 months MRI experience or enrollment in an MRI program. Travel may be required depending on assignment.

Qualifications

• - ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT or eligible per contract
• - CPR certification
• - State license if applicable
• - 3 months MRI experience or currently enrolled in MRI program (>6 months)
• - Strong customer service and multi-tasking skills

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient safety and pre-screening
• Produce high-quality diagnostic MR images
• Operate multiple MRI systems as required
• Communicate effectively with radiologists, staff, and patients
• Train/onsite or remote technologists and assistants as needed
