Job summary

Akumin is seeking an MRI Technologist to ensure patient safety and deliver high-quality MR studies on site or remotely. You will collaborate with Radiologists and staff, and may train new technologists and assistants both on site and remotely.

Required are ARRT/NMTCB/ARMDS MR registration and state licensing where applicable. Familiarity with multiple MR systems and patient safety protocols is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• MR registration with ARRT/NMTCB/ARMDS required; ARMRIT acceptable per contract.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and perform high-quality MR studies on site or remote.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists, team members, patients and customers.
• Operate multiple MR systems and produce diagnostic quality images.
• Train and orient new technologists, Patient Coordinators and MR Technologist Assistants.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
