Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our imaging team. You will image anatomical and/or physiologic conditions using MRI in compliance with radiology standards, under the supervision of a Radiologist, and contribute to accurate diagnoses.

Ideal candidates bring ARDMS or ARRT Radiography registration, BCLS, and a willingness to provide compassionate patient care across neonatal to geriatric populations, with no experience required and 6 months preferred.

Qualifications

• AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program required.
• No experience required; 6 months as MRI Technologist preferred.
• ARDMS or ARRT Radiography registration required upon hire.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• MRI technologists image anatomical and/or physiologic conditions using MRI to assist physicians in diagnosis, under supervising Radiologist guidance.
• Provide patient care to all age groups (neonatal to geriatric) in accordance with prescribed standards.

Responsibilities

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
