Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to support diagnostic imaging across diverse patient populations. You will operate MRI equipment, acquire high-quality images, and ensure patient comfort under the supervision of a Radiologist.

Responsibilities include patient care from neonatal to geriatric and adherence to safety standards. Training through AMA approved or JRCERT programs, ARDMS/ARRT registration and BCLS are required, with up to 6 months MRI experience preferred.

Qualifications

• AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program required.
• No experience required; 6 months MRI experience preferred.
• ARDMS or ARRT Radiography registration required; BCLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the direct supervision of the Radiologist.
• Provide patient care across all age groups (neonatal to geriatric).

Responsibilities:

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
