Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital in Georgia is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist. You will image neonatal to geriatric patients, ensuring comfort and safety while adhering to prescribed standards.

The role emphasizes accurate imaging, patient care, and collaboration with physicians and the radiology team. No or limited experience is required, with a preference for candidates with 6 months MRI experience and ARDMS/ARRT certification

Qualifications

• AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program required.
• No experience required; 6 months as MRI Technologist preferred.
• ARDMS or ARRT Radiographer registration required upon hire; BCLS required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Image anatomical and/or physiologic conditions with MRI to aid diagnosis.
• Perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the supervision of the Radiologist.
• Provide patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

Responsibilities

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
