Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MR examinations and deliver patient care across all ages under Radiologist supervision.

The role requires completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program, ARDMS/ARRT registration, and BCLS. Prior experience is optional, with 6 months preferred. You will collaborate with the radiology team to ensure safety and high-quality imaging.

Qualifications

• AMA approved Radiologic Technology program required.
• No experience required; 6 months as MRI Technologist preferred.
• ARDMS or ARRT registration required and BCLS upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists image anatomic/physiologic conditions to assist physicians.
• Perform diagnostic MR examinations under supervision of Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to all age groups (neonatal to geriatrics).

Responsibilities:

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
