Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking an MRI Technologist I to perform MRI procedures and operate scanners with proficiency.

You will verify orders, prepare patients, document history, and assist radiologists. The role requires ARRT Radiologic/Nuclear Medicine credentials and CPR. MRI registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire. This is a PRN, part-time position with variable scheduling.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates knowledge of MRI procedures and safety.
• Requires ARRT recognition in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• MS/CPR certification and MRI registry timeline per policy.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and related equipment per protocol.
• Identify patients, explain procedures, verify orders with radiologist.
• Administer IV contrast per protocol and document usage.
• Evaluate image quality and consult radiologist as needed.
• Maintain radiation safety and clean work area.
