Job summary

Advocate Health seeks an MRI Technologist I to operate MRI scanners and related equipment at the Kenilworth Imaging Center in Charlotte. The candidate will verify orders, prepare patients, collect medical history, and assist radiologists as needed.

The role requires ARRT-recognized training, MRI registry eligibility within 1 year, and CPR certification. This is a part-time/PRN position with variable hours and no benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• MRI ARRT registry eligible or ARMRIT program required; registry within 1 year of hire.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and related equipment following departmental protocols.
• Verify orders with radiologists and communicate discrepancies.
• Identify patients and explain procedures; obtain medical history and proper consent.
