Job summary

UnityPoint Health is seeking an MRI Technologist (PRN) to perform high-quality diagnostic MRI examinations and, as needed, diagnostic X-ray exams under radiologist direction. You will contribute to compassionate, patient-centered care while upholding safety and image quality standards.

The role requires a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with ARRT MRI certification and BLS. Prior radiology experience is preferred, with emphasis on safety and teamwork within a hospital

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• 1 year in Diagnostic Radiology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality MRI exams and X-ray exams as needed across age groups.
• Adheres to MRI safety protocols and standards of care.
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of anatomy for accurate imaging.
• Ensures safe administration of IV contrast and monitoring for adverse reactions.
• Assists in training and supervising students.
