Job summary

Duke Health Lake Norman Hospital in Mooresville, NC is seeking a MRI Technologist to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging in a patient-centered environment. The role supports emergency, inpatient, and outpatient imaging using Siemens and GE MRI technology.

We seek graduates or those with MR registry eligibility, and candidates who can obtain ARRT/ARMRIT MR certification within 18 months. Level II/III experience and BLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate or completion of program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification.
• ARRT or ARMRIT MR certification due within 18 months of employment.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for MR safety prior to procedure performance.
• Assist radiologist with protocoling and performance.
• Start IVs and administer contrast media per protocol.
• Evaluate MR scans for technical quality and label accordingly.
• Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical tasks.
• Charge MR procedures in the EHR and operate power injectors.
• Maintain accurate patient records and provide education to staff.
